130: Toxic Productivity

I skimmed the article and will read it through over a coffee later today.
A couple of things immediately stood out:

  1. “The problem is that we too often don’t really plan.”*

  2. When comparing to the office suite products, of which there are very few in comparison, those applications themselves are relative behemoths which do far more than most users require. Whereas to-do apps seem to be built on a more narrow, opinionated, framework. This premise seems to restrict use cases in to do apps (i.e. we developed this app for you to work this way) whereas the office suite says: “go nuts!”

Sure the to do apps still provide a lot of freedom to the user, but only to an extent.
