I am currently rocking a 2017 13 inch MBP with 16gb ram and a 2tb hard drive.
After my recent update to Ventura 13.4.1, I plugged in my external drive (a hard drive with 2 partitions, one that is files and the other for Time Machine and started getting the message that:
macOS can’t repair the disk “Time Machine”.
You can still open or copy files in the disk, but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.
No other errors, the other partition seems to be fine, and of course I tried Disk Utility anyhow to no avail.
Do I just need to reformat the partition and start a new backup or is there a 3rd party program worth looking at?
