3rd party mail client recommendations for M365?

I can’t wait for AI tagging to be a thing, as this is a task that is right in the sweet spot of current AI capabilities that would be 99% reliable.

Otherwise, I’ll continue to pretend to organise my inbox, however really just archiving 90% of messages and praying that search will work (yet another thing that AI should be great at).

As someone who first cut their email teeth in terminal apps, then Bayon VINES, Microsoft Mail v3.X, Lotus Notes, Exchange/Outlook…I can’t help but think folders and hierarchy, so tagging has just never landed for me.

Yes, I’d seen that. I’m not a fan of subscriptions at all, but this one seems fairly reasonable - especially for a mail application you’re likely to be using every day.
