Am I wrong? Ulysses + Bookends + Pages = No Bibliography

I did an experiment to confirm that I could generate a bibliography in Pages from an imported Ulysses document with citations from Bookends. I cannot find any way to generate a bibliography using Pages. However, it works fine in Word.

Academics: am I wrong? Is there a way to generate a bibliography in Pages from Bookend citations?

Below are screenshots in Word showing this working perfectly. I can’t find any way to do this using Pages.

It is not the end of the world; I have Word but I’d prefer to use Pages. Am I missing something or do I just need to use Word?

Thanks for the suggestion. I watched a few Mellel tutorial videos. I think I’ll stick with Ulysses + Bookends + Word rather than take on another application. I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless.
