Been awhile since I’ve heard anything like that mentioned. I’m sick of all these cards, but also wary of personal data making its way out to some weird company.
I put everything into 1Password even if the loyalty card can go into the Wallet app.
I use Stocard for my store cards.

I still use stocard but have found I actually don’t use loyalty cards that much anymore. Seem a bit outated somehow?
I use it all the time with different barscan readers. When was the last time you tried it?
+1 for Stocard. Some grocery store scanners have a problem but all the handheld scanners seem to work.
