Haven’t used it, but I’ve been curious to try Default Folder as well, seems like the answer for this to me.
Just wanted to point out to it’s also possible if you have the location you want to save to open in finder, you can “drag and drop” that location to the save dialog window and that makes the save location that folder you dropped in. Kind of hard to explain, here’s a prior thread about it:
