Apple is replacing the head of Siri

Duh……(twenty characters)

With all that to show after 10 years or more, not much of a surprise.

If you listen to this week’s Macbreak Weekly, the telling comment is along the lines of I use Siri for times and to check the weather and ???

(I confess I hadn’t thought to use Siri for the weather and sometimes I can use it to send a quick text message to a family member although even then it will often ask me who I mean (even though my family members haven’t changed in 20 years).

One might also get the impression that someone’s head would have to roll given the revelation that Apple Intelligence cannot be delivered and the WWDC announcement is turning out to look like vapourware leading to even John Gruber writing articles about things being rotten in the Cupertino.

But Vision Pro - isn’t that a bit like the stunning success of the HomePod only even more out of reach for most people?

It’s about time. It seems that recently Siri has gotten less structured and unreliable since the advent of the AI interface

The title of this thread is way more amusing if you read it literally

I liked B Harris’s comment (on The Verge), about who will be running the Siri team:

Seriously? “The Vision Pro guy”?!

Was the MobileMe guy on vacation?

I see I’m not the only one in a silly mood today. It’s been a long winter.

I am glad I am not the only one who took it literally.
