Apple News+: Stop Magazine Recommendations?

This may be an odd question, and it’s admittedly small potatoes, but it’s driving me nuts.

Is there really no way to make Apple News+ stop recommending magazines? I’ll add my own magazines, thanks — I don’t want Apple’s suggestions cluttering up my magazines list.

Am I missing something, or is there really no way to make the behavior stop?

You mean like how it recommend Women’s Health and AARP for me?

I don’t think there’s a way out of it.

On the desktop version (in Big Sur) there’s a preference to restrict the stories in “Today” to only the magazines you follow. Will that do what you’re looking for?

@wnknisely, thanks, but I’m afraid not. The Today section isn’t the problem.

Toward the top of the News+ section, I see a row of magazine issues that I’ve selected to read. The issue is that the app keeps mixing other magazines in there, thinking I might like them.

I want those recommendations to go away, but that doesn’t seem to be possible.
