I bought my 32Gb Crucial RAM module from Amazon for $250, but it’s now down to $207. Crucial is owned by Micron Technologies, it has a lifetime warranty, and it’s one of the biggest producers of RAM - many 3rd-party RAM modules are actually made by Micron.
And yes, it gives me 40Gb total RAM, and took less than a minute to install once I places the iMac screen-down and popped the access hatch.
Methinks they know not what they are talking about if they think Vega 48 is “workstation class.” Vega 64 isn’t even that.
