Apple Watch Reminder’s

I have a new iPhone 11 and an old Apple Watch series 4. When I got my new phone I synced it to my watch and everything seems to be working fine except for reminders. Reminders are not going to my default list that I’ve selected on the phone. Is there a way to tell the watch which list is default? I thought it was supposed to get this from the phone, but it’s not working. All watch reminders are going to my “camping” reminders list. Apparently my Apple Watch wants me to go camping! :rofl:

I’ve restarted both watch and phone. I’m not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

I called Apple about this and talked to them for over an hour. They couldn’t figure it out. When they wanted me to unpair the watch I just set up last week I decided to try deleting the “camping” reminder list and it started working properly. The Apple tech I talked to couldn’t figure out how that worked, but at least it’s fixed now.
