Application Uninstallers

I use CleanMyMac X to uninstall apps but ALL uninstallers leave stuff all over the place. I agree with @tomalmy re: “However the cruft is usually small and can be ignored IMHO.” but I also agree with @WayneG “But they irritate me”. Has anyone ever uninstalled Adobe Creative Cloud apps? Months later I find remnants (even if you use the Adobe installers). I don’t understand why developers can’t remove everything. If they can put it on my Mac they should be able to remove it. Or does Apple prevent them from removing some things? I know when I manually remove some remnants I have to use my password.

It’'s good to see you on here Mr. @tjluoma. Also, I would recommend AppCleaner and Brew if the app was installed by Homebrew.

I typically use App Cleaner or the app installer built into Raycast, but Chrome really stinks its hooks into your system, so when I got rid of it for good a few years ago, I used these instructions.
