I’ve spent a good half hour working on this without success and wonder if anyone here knows how to set it up (or if it can be done).
I listen to music in my office via Plex on my Sonos speakers. Typically, I do this through my AppleTV but I’d rather control the music on my Mac. I installed Audio Hijack assuming I’d be able to:
- Route all macOS audio through my default speakers
- Route all PlexAmp audio to my Sonos speakers (via AirPlay) with a separate volume control.
The problem seems to be getting my Sonos speakers to appear as an output device when they aren’t in use by the computer already. I’d love some ideas/help from someone with a similar setup or more knowledge of Rouge Amoeba’s tools. Thanks!
