How can I download previously purchased audiobooks from the iTunes Store onto my iOS device, instead of transferring them from iTunes on the Mac?
You should be able to redownload your audiobooks from the Books app. In the past, due to licensing restrictions (at least in the USA), redownloading of audiobooks was limited or even impossible, but at some point this was apparently fixed for the consumer.
