HI All, I just read the MacRumor article https://www.macrumors.com/2019/05/28/background-refresh-apps-sending-data/
and decided that I needed to learn more about Background App Refresh.
How useful is Background App refresh? I’m not sure how it works and do I need to turn it on?
Which apps would you allow? I’ve decided to only allow it for apps that I trust or need like 1Password, IFTTT, Waze, and stock Apple apps (Mail, Maps, Notes, Calendar, Contacts, shortcuts, and voice memo). What about financial apps like Chase and Wells Fargo?
Does turning off background app refresh disable push notifications?
Is there a way to default turn off app refresh for new apps?
