Best workflow to rip cd's and limit tracks to 1 min?

For work, I have a task to rip a CD, get the files to my Mac and then cut down the track to just 1 minute each and post them on a website.

I haven’t ripped cd’s in about 10 years. Any ideas on the best workflow on how to do this?

You can rip them in iTunes/Music and trim them in QuickTime.

Forgot to mention, you’ll need to export the trimmed file as “Audio Only” :+1:

I prefer X Lossless Decoder for CD ripping. XLD

A command line option for creating the 1min files is the “trim” argument to SOX (Sound eXchange) which is available via Homebrew. (Manual)
