Better alternatives to Gemini II for duplicate finding?

I have a new perspective on diff tools now. That’s definitely an industrial strength tool there. I also understand what 3-way compare is, and why it would be useful. Thanks for enlightening me.

Can Araxis Merge find duplicate files no matter where in the folder hierarchy they may be located (like you can do with Beyond Compare by selecting = Same and Flatten/Ignore Folder Structure)?

If so, do you know if it also works inside Zip files (AM is supposed to support comparing the insides of Zip archives. It’s Windows only, but I can run it in Parallels)? This would be very useful for finding duplicates in old Google Takeout archives…
