I bought StopTheMadness based on its popularity and is still trying to figure out how it can help me. I think it’s the type of app that do its job in the background and you are not aware of it.
The features I use include:
- Stop websites from overwriting your system clipboard
- Stop websites from hiding vertical scrollbars
- Stop websites from disabling text replacements
- Stop websites from overriding control-key shortcuts
- Bypass link shorteners

Do you mean like text expansion e.g. typing a few words to expand into a sentence and some websites don’t allow? Ok, I think I can explore this.
One thing I was expecting was that StopTheMadness would stop those GDPR consent from popping up. Those are annoying! But in one Reddit post, the developer said that is not in-scope. What a bummer!
