When I try what used to work (the image icon, then specify the file name) it seems to start the upload but then puts up a message “Invalid region: region was not a valid DNS name.”
It just started doing that this week. No known software change here. I use Safari on Mac.
I would add screen shots of this, but you know…

I just tried and got the same error
Me too. I thought it was a problem with my image.

And failure [to correct] is not an option.

No, my impression is that you have a very positive image, at least on this forum.

We will look at this. Just ran a bunch of updates and I bet something broke.

@ismh86 – Any updates on this issue? I just tried inserting an image and got an error:
Invalid region: region was not a valid DNS name.
Thanks for looking into this; it will be good to have this working again.

It’s likely a separate issue, but today graphics including the MPU logo have stopped displaying for me.
Anyone else noticing the same?

If you try and download the MPU logo, what is actually downloaded is an xml file:
808d20b5347d6a34f7ed8db75c1915ef438b1c62.png.xml
containing just an error line: No such bucket
.
(I won’t post the entire line, because I simply don’t know if any of the info is sensitive. Can’t imagine it is, but still…)

Maybe related – today, most of the members’ icons have turned into the generic grey heads-and-shoulders icon. Might be a cache issue.

Seems like a CDN issue, I thought MPU used Cloudflare but it seems to be based on Digital ocean now.

Our first fix obviously made things worse, so we’re reaching out to our original developer now.

I assume it’s related because that’s been part of the graphics not rendering since it started, at least for me.

The (new) MPU logo fires visual cognition issues related to my dyslexia and therefore I used an element hiding feature of one of my many browser extensions to prevent its display. The logo is never displayed for me.
