I have Hazel rules configured to importing photos into an “Inbox” album so that I can review it periodically and reach “Inbox Zero”. However, iOS and macOS won’t put new photos into a pre-selected folder, as far as I can tell. New photos on my phone don’t go to any album making it harder to manage them.
Are there 3rd party tools or command line “Fu” that can tell photos to add new photos into a specific album?
I have a work-around in the form of a smart folder called “Unfiled” that searches for an finds photos that don’t belong to any album. But that isn’t the optimal solution for me. I’m an “inbox management” kind of person.
