Catalina and Notifications

I have upgraded my home computer to Catalina OS.

Now, every time I log in, I get a long list of notifications down the right hand side of the window as various applications ask if I want to allow notifications or not. These are standard apps that launch on log-in like Textexpander, Dropbox etc.

Is there a way to make the computer recognise those apps I have already authorised / not authorised to allow notifications, so I don’t have to go through this rigmarole every time!?

Thanks in advance

It’s a Catalina rite of passage. The notifications will die down soon. If you happen to miss one, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy, click on the lock and authenticate, then check the categories for any unaccepted authorities and make a decision on whether to accept or not.

Great :frowning:

Goes well with the intermittent Mail.app drop outs and the inability to search Mail with Houdah Spot (just to name my 1st three bug bears)!
