After several years of consideration, I’m thinking about purchasing a classic Macintosh. I’m talking a 1984 original, 128k, beige-colored beauty. The one that changed it all. Besides @ismh, does anyone else own one or have you purchased one? Anything to look out for when purchasing? What’s your favorite part of owning one?

When buying an original Macintosh, I would check the battery bay for corrosion. I was given one that the battery leaked and it took a great deal of effort to get it working again. Battery was hard to find and expensive.
