I did something similar about a year ago: 🤦♂️ Hardware Damage Moments
Brought it to Apple, I am pretty sure they took stuff apart and didn’t notice any egregious damage or dampness. My keyboard was sticky and smelled like coffee for awhile, LOL.
As of this current date, I have no stickiness, no coffee smell, no issues.
