Couldn't Help Myself: Giving Ulysses a Short Trial -- Here's Why

Indeed. I’m finding that using Ulysses’s built-in proofreading in combination with Apple Intelligence provides sufficient proofreading without the need for Grammarly. That said, I think Grammarly is the better tool, but combining Ulysses’s revision mode with Apple Intelligence is sufficient without the need to pay an additional subscription.

Ah OK, it does not work with the ‘anywhere’ version of Pro Writing Aid so I assumed it would not work with Grammarly’s similar functionality. I’ll have to try it.

I’ve just got the Apple Inelligence feautre on the iPad beta so that will be interesting to try with revision mode on the iPad verion of Ulysses.

I’m very interested in the article that you’re writing. How can I get access one? It is complete? Thanks!

If you are referring to Lighthouse Parenting, you can read it here. Let me know if you have any trouble. I have to resolve a domain issue between Hover and SquareSpace. I haven’t had time to get to it yet.

The problem as I see it is that there is 1 person making it- on all platforms. That’s one off the things I think is Ok, or justifies subs, that you can expect it to support whatever apple, or others, invents.

A very inspiring article. Thank you.
