Create and Open a folder on macOS

Hi Folks,
I find myself moving around a lot of files.

Using Cmd-Shift-N, to make a new folder,
I would like to then OPEN that newly
created folder, maybe to create a sub
folder or at least have it open to receive
files.

Hitting Enter, highlights the folder for a rename

I want to OPEN it please.

Any thoughts appreciated

Cmd+down arrow. Changed Finder for me when I found that out. Cmd+up arrow brings you up a folder too.

Thank You!

(It is so often the little things…)

You can also use ⌘O. It will open folders or files.

You could do this in Keyboard Maestro!

It’s quite easy, I’m on my Ipad atm but I’ll add a screenshot when i get home!
