It didn’t work because the code you were using was hallucinated.
Here’s an example tag query pulled from GoodLinks’s url scheme help page:
goodlinks://x-callback-url/tag?name=apple

In about to release a bookmarking helper—Tsundoku—that supports Linkding, and a handful of others.
I’ll look to add support for GoodLinks, if it has an API.
cf. :
We at CogSci Apps Corp. use the API to optionally automatically add bookmarks to GoodLinks whenever the user adds a bookmark to Hookmark. Hookmark will soon sync tags between Hookmark and GoodLinks, meaning if you add a tag to a URL in GoodLinks, Hookmark will apply the same tag to the corresponding link in Hookmark, and vice-versa. We will repeat this for Finder tags ( Hookmark can adaptively bookmark anything that has a URL, custom or not; its hook://file/
URLs are shareable between users on different Macs).
Please let us know when available.
Very soon! Need to finish a little one page website and creating the App Store promo content.
After using Pinboard for years, I too decided not to renew my subscription due to lack of development. Maciej has also become much slower to reply to support issues, if he responds at all.
I’ve switched to Raindrop after a recommendation by Bart Busschots.
I tried GoodLinks again, but I opted for DEVONthink because it supports archiving to PDF files. That way I can use a powerful PDF editor like the Skim app. This is more aligned with the “delve deeply” principle of my book Cognitive Productivity with macOS: 7 Principles for Getting Smarter with Knowledge. I’ll need to setup an automation which bookmarks, archives and adds a hook between the PDF and the source web link.
