Scenario:
I have to submit weekly activity of my service to my office. The activity is logged inside an Excel Spreadsheet (I use Numbers) and looks like this:
The process is annoying and sometimes I forget to do this right after the service is provided.
I created a shortcuts that does the following:
- Choose Contact
- Append text to a text file
May 20, 2020 - Clinic - Therapy - Smith, John
I would like to take it a step further. However, it looks like it is impossible to paste this info into a Numbers file or Airtable.
Copying and pasting plain text into Numbers does not put the data into separate cells.
May 19, 2020 - ClinicA - Assessment - Uber, Carlo
May 20, 2020 - ClinicB - Therapy - Smith, John
Any suggestions?
Edit: I found a solution with Airtable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySpVqvzM_Ss
Edit 2: Another solution is to uses Append to Numbers.

Just add the file path in the second action to an existing numbers file that must be located in the shortcuts folder in iCloud, optionally you can change it to Dropbox if you like.
Type the name in normally like John Smith, the shortcut will convert it to last name, first name.
