I’m surprised no one said it yet, but my wish list is simple. An Apple silicon version of the Mac Pro.
Hardware
- 32” retina monitor for sub $2k
- Stand alone Touch ID button
Software
- Polish/fix everything that is janky in settings, etc.
- Make Safari sidebar able to work like Arc’s
- Allow iPad to operate with external monitor in clamshell
- Open up iPad OS to allow launcher/similar tools
Wow, that is a real wish for that price, I think that $2.5k would be a minimum if the Studio Display starts at $1.5k
Instant purchase.
My favorite Mac was my 2010 Mac Pro (and I’ve had a few, my first was a 512KE). I loved the user upgradability of that machine. I bought it the week it came out and retired it in 2019. Thus my wish is an affordable user upgradable pro Mac.

Good point. Maybe I should delete and repost his at the beginning of May.
Change the defaults when startign up a new mac to NO iCloud or any other junk and let me decide what I wis or do not wish to enable.
It’s like Whack-a-Mole trying to kill iCloud on a new mac if I DON’'T want my stuff on there!
