Ditch the IPad? MB + Foldable iPhone Instead?

Please take the comment it in the spirit of fun. :pray:t2:

I’ve had similar dreams. I especially liked the look of the trifold phone one of the asian manufacturers made “Huawei”? Which gave a 10” screen when extended.

The question in my mind is whether making the phone multi functional from a screen perspective will reduce how effective it is. Will there be downsides?

That is how I took it. Besides, I strive, imperfectly, to give the judgment of charity and not to take things personally, I thought it was funny. :slightly_smiling_face:

@Bmosbacker Well I just read this from PCMag The price could be up to $2,500. Worth every penny no doubt! You might have to give up more than an iPad upgrade

I hear you can get £10k for a kidney

Mercy! I will not spend $2,000+ for a phone. Do they still make landlines? :slightly_smiling_face:

If you won’t spend $2,000+ I doubt you’ll be picking up a folding iPhone.
I really struggle to imagine them pricing it under 2k for a spec you’d want. Base spec might creep in under if they’re wanting to have good headlines but if so then I’d imagine it’s somehow less complete.

I agree. I can envision no scenario where I’d spend $2K+ for a phone.

$2000+ for a phone is crazy talk. I agree Barrett. I can’t see the advantage unless someone is on the road traveling a lot and they don’t want to carry multiple devices. I suggest you buy two and let us know your thoughts. :joy:

Certainly, if you’ll pay my divorce attorney fees.

That may cost less than the two new phones.

If I spend $2,000 on a cell phone, I’m going to have to insist on higher quality spam texts. Frankly, I don’t think I’m getting my money’s worth on my cheaper phone.

By the way, if anyone is looking for a good extended car warranty, just let me know. I can forward some offers. No need to thank me. You would be doing me a favor. I’d like to get them out of my inbox.
