Does anybody lose device connection when using Fitness+ with their iPhone?

Using Fitness+ with just my iPhone, and several times per week the app just stops mid-workout and informs me that it’s lost the connection with my device. At this point I have to grab the remote, goof with the TV some more, and restart it.

I do NOT, however, have to reconnect my device…for some reason.

Any insights? Current iOS/tvOS all around, and if the Apple TV had eyes it would have a beautifully clear view of the wifi router less than 10 feet away.
