I second Easy CSV Editor. One of the best purchases ever. It’s so light and fast that I can get in, do what I need to do, and get out in about the time it takes to open Numbers or Excel. I still use Numbers when I need to calculate things, but Easy CSV Editor is my go-to for almost everything else.
In fact, I set up a Keyboard Maestro shortcut to “Create from clipboard” in Easy CSV Editor so I can copy any spreadsheet I receive and open it htere for a much more pleasant experience.

Thanks @Stefan786, filtering is the feature I’ve had the most fun building, so really glad it’s clicking. With SQL you can write any expression you want; without it, the GUI parses and edits the same text. Since a filter is just text, there’s room to grow it later, like saving, sharing, or LLM integration.
