That’s true. My point was - dont have unrealistic expectations. Invasion of privacy for national security vs profit is a nominally night/dichotomy until one lives in a dictatorship. Anyway, I expect privacy from Apple - even with its flaw. But from Android….might as well just post it on a Times Square billboard…
No one ever except you yourself can be trusted with your privacy. No government body or organisation and especially no for profit company should ever be trusted to keep your privacy.
Once you understand that, then it’s just how much privacy you’re willing to give away in exchange for a service or product.
