We are currently moved out of our house while the kitchen is replaced. Figured it was a good time to upgrade our network from the 1st gen Eeros to the new Pro 6. I was able to get a 20% discount on the new Eeros so it made the decision easier.
With the old units the fastest download I could get was around 700-800 mbps on my Cox Gigablast connection. Two days into the change and I’m getting 950mbps on every test. In addition my wifi 6 devices are getting 500+ mbps easily.
On the downside the units run noticeably warmer. The power cords are about a foot shorter which was a problem for one unit I have mounted on top of a cabinet. They do use USB-C connections.
A worthwhile upgrade.
