EU to miss out on Apple Intelligence & iPhone Screen Sharing at launch

I partially did this last October. I switched to a Google Pixel and have never been happier. I don’t miss the iPhone and certainly not the closed Apple eco system. The development and Ai functionality on the Pixel are excellent. The Ai helps me daily with contextual canned responses in messaging and call screening.

A lot of the arguments depends on trusting Apple with your data. I don’t. I don’t trust any for profit company with my data.

Saying the EU isn’t getting “Apple Intelligence” at launch because of the DMA could just be a bargaining move. The new Siri won’t be available in beta until next year, and the eye candy features that are scheduled to ship aren’t likely to cause many users to upgrade early.

And Apple really needs iPhone sales to pick up if they are going to be seen as a growth company.
