If you really have to rely on the functionality of Excel on Windows, I would rather opt for Parallels and a Windows license instead crossover, particularly if you want to work with up-to-date versions. Excel 2016 is listed with only “limited functionality” available, and there may very well be features missing that you rely on in accounting.
