M1 doesn’t support external GPUs, unfortunately, so you won’t be able to do this.

Well technically the SoC does support eGPUs but macOS lacks ARM64 drivers for AMD GPUs and since GPU driers are kernel extensions you can’t use rosetta2 to run them.
