I am looking for an external enclosure for 3 3.5" hdds and possibly one (or more) sdd over time.
I do not need RAID (I know I should - maybe later - at the moment it is backed up to Backblaze), and am looking at the Mercury Elite Pro Quad (https://www.owc.com/solutions/mercury-elite-pro-quad). It will be connected to a M1 macMini (the smallest one).
Would you recommended this enclosure?
I heard complaints about the noise. Is it an issue?
Are there others enclosures which run the fan only when needed?
Other recommendations?
