I probably should add. I do use my 12.9" iPad pro (2020) with magic keyboard for the occasional text entries to IA writer and Obsidian.

I know a lot of people do not like the iPad os Obsidian app but I personally find it quite easy to use, especially just for text editing, such as my daily note. The Obisidian sync is brilliant in keeping all devices in sync. Glad I sign up for eary bird deal and not having to rely on the never-working-good-enough iCloud sync.

I’ve just had a go at using Obsidian on my old MacBook. It’s soo much better than the iPad version.

I’ve now set my desk up with a mid-2013 MacBook instead of my iPad Pro complete with Magic Keyboard and pencil, which is going to be relegated to a travel/couch device.
