Now that the new Siri and Apple Intelligence have launched, I’ve decided to give the Siri watch face another try to see what I think. Has anyone else made this decision, or is anyone else considering it?
I’m not sure that is still available. But again, I may be wrong. Or do you mean Siri Modular?
You are correct. Siri watch face is not available. I’m trying Siri Modular. Thanks for the correction.
I liked the original Siri face for lots of reasons, but I still wanted a decent number of complications which it didn’t have.
let us know how you get on @Bmosbacker
I will!

I am also trying it out as I enjoy the design of it. Also has Day/Date built in, which usually is one of my complications.
Hoping it may nudge me into using Siri a bit more too, but I switch around among my favourite faces quite often.
Is this a watch face exclusive to the Ultra?
I don’t believe so. Both Series and Ultra
It’s on my brand new series 12.
I’m trying Siri Modular as well and liking it so far. I think it’s going better than previous excursions with a Siri face because a) widgets are more useful, b) more room on the Ultra, c) the widget that can hold three app complications.
The big test will be if it shows the calendar complication when meetings are coming up, soon enough that I get to them on time!
Edit: obligatory photo. Probably not sticking with red. Please ignore my poor training stats.
P.S. this has nothing to do with the face, but this confidently wrong answer earlier tonight cracked me up.
This inspired me to ask Siri the same question.
In my case, too, it was confidently wrong. It said that, based on my messages, I have two children, and it named them.
They’re my brother’s kids. (I don’t have any.)
As for children, unless they are identified somewhere in your system specifically as your children, I’m not sure how it could identify them as such. At least in my case, all of them are married with different last names, so I’m not surprised it was unable to identify them as such.
I also would be pretty pleased that it didn’t know that type of info.
For what it’s worth, that large middle complication seems to pull from the widgets that you have active (the ones where when you scroll up using the Digital Crown they are revealed). It takes the first listed widget and displays it there, unless you have widget suggestions enabled, and/or Now Playing going on. At least that is what I have surmised in my testing. I do love and use the new Siri face as my primary.
It suddenly appeared after I upgraded to WatchOS 27
I agree!

Definitely. The funny part to me was that it confidently said “None.” based on having no information, instead of I don’t know. Ideally that’d be based on some positive confirmation I’m childless…
It’s responding better today on the watch–I asked again today a couple of times and they went like this.
The phone has access to more information and came up with a clever way to answer correctly, including the names, but it included my wife.

But then I asked it again who my children were and it was able to exclude my wife and just name the kids, and it double-confirmed with a conversation between me and my daughter about her FAFSA.
Your Delta Dental member card lists n dependents, which includes your spouse, K, alongside your n children. Additionally, a recent FAFSA update you submitted confirms a family size of n.
But, when I asked it “Who are my children? Look at messages between me and [wife’s name]” it only partially named them and included the name of someone else’s kid.
Curious stuff.
We’re not too far from superintelligence. ![]()
I wonder with this if it’s being literal about Children. My daughters are 24 and 27, so they’re not Children, but they’re my children. ![]()
