Good software documentation examples

Back in my Linux days I got curious about tiling window managers, and I found the i3 documentation outstanding.

It’s really important to have a clear idea of who the user is. What do they need to know as basic assumptions?

When it is 11:30 PM on a Sunday night, and I’m working a problem, I would want everything available on the subject in one source. OTOH It is almost impossible to get an end user to even look at any documentation.

For anything more, you would expect a collection of simple screen recorded demos

I agree. This is a good example (IMO), short and to the point.
