I use Microsoft Word I want autosave, but don’t use OneDrive, computer Microsoft says no. Claude was able to make a simple Karabiner script that steps in by doing Cmd + S whenever I hit enter with Word open. Stupid simple, will probably never think about it again, which is IMHO the way a good program should work.

I think AI has added to the capability of lots of scripting /automation solutions - Karabiner, Keyboard Maestro, Hazel, PopClip, and so many others.
So much easier/quicker to create a quick script than it was when it had to all be done manually.

Can confirm. I’ve used Claude to generate a PopClip extension and a few Dataview Obsidian queries, neither of which I could do on my own.

I have also noticed that Claude Cowork is a Keyboard Maestro fan! In a number of situations when I wanted Cowork to do something autonomously that its sandbox will not permit, Cowork offered the option of writing a Keyboard Maestro macro that it can run based on my requested parameters/permissions.
