After attending the iPadOS 16 deep dive with @MacSparky this morning as part of the Early Access MacSparky Labs it sealed the deal for me that my next hardware purchase would be an M1 iPad Pro. My current iPad is a 2015 vintage 12.9" iPad Pro which, in all honesty, still works great. However, I found myself lusting a bit after the ability to run stage manager. As a small univeristy professor I am not financially able to drop money on all the hardware that I would absolutely love to have so have to prioritize things. The new iPad Pro would be a functional improvement for me. Other things that I would love to have, to be honest, are mostly asthetic (e.g. new display). Fun to dream!
