This is primarily a Keyboard Maestro issue so I posted it over on the Keyboard Maestro forum:
but the TL;DR is that VLC’s main menu item (next to the menu at the top-left of the screen) changed from VLC to VLC media player which can throw off Keyboard Maestro macros if you were matching that menu. The other menus have not changed, AFAICT, and the app itself is still VLC.app
Probably preferable to post questions/replies over on the Keyboard Maestro forum rather than here to keep from duplicating Q&As, but I’ll be watching both places.
