Help with issues on a new DJI Mic Mini 2 and a Mac

Hi all.

Hoping someone can help - just purchased DJI’s Mic Mini 2 package (charging case, USB C receiver and 2 mics, with all the little extras).

I’ve managed to get this working absolutely fine with my iPhone (plugging the receiver into the USB C port) - lovely recordings :smile:

However, trying it with the Mac (Mini M4) the same way i.e. through the receiver into a USB C port, the input is very quiet. Even with the input volume whacked all the way up on the Mac, and the receiver’s gain to 12db, it records very quietly. With just bluetooth’ing the mic directly, it’s even quieter.

I’ve updated the firmware just in case, but still very quiet. Also, all the clipping/ANC is off.

Hopefully I’m missing something obvious - anyone any experience with these things?

Unfortunately I don’t have any advise for you but I do have the same mic and the same problem recording from my iPhones to Davinci Resolve (video editor). I can’t figure out the problem either

I’m considering buying one of these … so I’m intrigued to know if you’ve had any luck fixing it?

Hi. No not really. They seem fine recording and playing back on the iPhone, but very quiet on the Mac.

DJI say the test recording I sent them is fine :pensive:

Drat. That’s very frustrating for you. If it’s any consolation, you have helped me dodge a bullet.
