I want to highlight the notch, which is one of my favorite features on the new MBPs. I already use pale backgrounds, so when I am not using any app in fullscreen, the notch is proudly watching over the rest of the desktop.
However, in fullscreen mode, the Menu Bar defaults to black with white text, no matter what colors the app below it is using. I don’t like this, as it creates the effect of a tall bezel, which I find annoying (even though of course it has the Menu Bar items’ text).
I wouldn’t be at all shocked if there was a Terminal command line to switch the menubar area from a default to dark mode in full screen to a default to light mode, or maybe to set desired colors for background and text. Can anyone suggest how to achieve this?
