Well, that’s a tricky question because Macs come loaded with so much free software. So, because I run a Mac automation YouTube channel, I’ll constrain my list to third-party automation tools, meaning I won’t count things like Automator or AppleScript because they are native to the Mac.

Keyboard Maestro, Backblaze on menu bar. I am in DEVONthink 3 all the time and that does nearly everything for me now, I sometimes use Houdah Spot with it. I have one or two apps I don’t really use any more at all. One that came with my thumb drive that I don’t even understand what it does. I still have the LaTeX for Mac instatlled though don’t use it much these days.
