HP Laserjet experiences

That The Verge review is probably the best review of anything I’ve ever read. :grinning:

I have and use a Xerox Phaser 6510. It’s still available in various options (though has had multiple firmware and incremental design changes)

I have an old Laser jet Pro M148dw (it’s an AIO) connected via ethernet to my home lan.
I struggled a lot with it on windows in the past but since I switched to Mac a couple of years ago it works flawlessly. It is also the scanner I use almost daily for Devonthink.

Thanks for all your suggestions, tips, and advice. It’s much appreciated!

I did some more research and - much to my own surprise - ended up buying another inkjet AIO. :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
The decision was based on a couple of reviews and websites describing the pros and cons of both inkjet and laser printers. In the end it was basically the size of the printer and a couple of features that made me buy an Epson EcoTank ET-4850. So that’s one without cartridges. Fingers crossed this will last a couple of years,

I had an HP Laserjet 4050, too. It’s the best printer I’ve ever owned. I wish I still had it.

I agree with the Verge here. If you have basic needs for a BW laser printer, then the Brother HL-L2305W is the best choice for your money.
