iOS 12 Calendar App : Ability to Duplicate Event without using Fantastical?

In the past, I have used Fantastical to duplicate an event.

With iOS 12, is Fantastical still the only option to perform this common task?

Does making the task repeat/recur do the job? Checking my understanding…

@RichardC - No. I am simply wanting to duplicate single event once.
