I feel dumb for having to ask this, but I have done a search and found nothing.
In iOS 12 on my iPad the dock is auto hiding when on the home screen, is there any way to make it persistent like it used to be?
Geez, not for me, on 4 different iPads
(12.9, 10.5, 9.7, Mini)
How odd. Mine is as it was, ie still visible. I don’t see a specific hide control either.
Visible on my homescreen on both iPads.
I think you may have run into some sort of bug.

Yeah a system reset fixed it, must have just been a strange bug
