I am sorry as I feel this is a super beginners question…
What is the best way to link your iPad up to an external monitor? Presumably this can be done?
Can you link it to two monitors?!

If you have a standard iPad you will need a lightning to HDMI adapter. And mine also required a lightning power cable plugged into the adapter to work.
If you have an iPad Pro you can use a USB-C to HDMI cable. Only 1 monitor per iPad.

Or you could get an Apple TV and stream to the Monitor/TV
