I have a couple of shortcuts I run on my iPad frequently. I invoke them using a hardware keyboard and CMD+space → type a few letters. This part is fairly smooth. The annoyance is that the shortcuts app always switches to the front. Then I need to return to my original app. These feels jarring and harms flow. Is there an elegant way to avoid this?
I open Shortcuts app in slideover that way when it shows I can just flick it away as soon as the shortcut has done its job.

I’ve settled on something similar in stage manager - it still feels wrong. I know iPadOS limitations and all, however - Shortcuts should just run in the background. Ugh.
